Role Overview
The Senior Sales Executive (SSE) is a hybrid role responsible for proactively generating new business with a strong emphasis on DTSL’s Totality solutions (Managed and Professional Services). This role will target a range of industries, with particular focus on Government and Commercial sectors across the South Island.
What you’ll be doing
1. Growth of Totality Services and Revenues
- Proactively identify and close new business opportunities.
- Promote DTSL’s Totality portfolio including managed services, project delivery, and associated solutions.
2. Account Development & Management
- Manage and grow existing client relationships.
- Build account plans and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting.
4. Representation of DTSL
- Represent DTSL and the Totality brand with professionalism and integrity.
- Be the face of DTSL in customer engagements, tenders, and proposals.
5. Relationship Management
- Develop strong long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder environments and influence decision-makers.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate internally across technical, management, and operational teams.
- Drive proposal and tender responses, and coordinate internal resources as needed.

What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of sales / business experience with proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and relationship-building skills
- Strong sales qualification and closing skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Ability to engage at C-level and technical stakeholder levels
- Strong business acumen, including financial literacy and strategic thinking
- Confident in presenting complex technical solutions clearly and persuasively
- Effective in proposal management and sales documentation
- Self-starter who can work independently and meet/exceed sales targets
