ICT Senior Consultant - Wellington

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Technical Consultant, you will work with the team by providing technical expertise and product evaluation support to current and prospective clients.
The key focus here is to provide accurate assessments of products, services and project requirements and ensure smooth transitions from design to implementation. This is a crucial Technical Lead role; you will significantly contribute to delivering robust solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing IT solutions for customers, ensuring they are secure, functional, and exceed client expectations.
- Leading technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal issues.
- Create documentation essential to supporting the solution and the sales process .
- Delivering technical workshops and training to clients, helping them leverage the power of modern workplace solutions.
- Mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance and support to foster their professional development.
ABOUT YOU:
Technical Skills and Experience
- Experience in Technical Consulting/Solution Architect experience
- Azure Cloud AWS, 365 consulting and design experience.
- Experience with implementing solutions and products to enterprise companies
- Experience with migrating customers from on-premises to cloud
- Understanding/experience with our non-Microsoft core product/technology range – HP, Symantec, Cisco, Fortinet, Hypervisors e.g., Hyper-V, VMware or similar.
- Understanding of WAN/Internet connection products and topologies.
- Experience and proficiency in traditional on-premises infrastructure including windows servers, exchange, AD, certificate authorities and virtual servers (Hyper-V and VMware)
Qualifications:
- Degree or industry equivalent.
- Microsoft Certification (e.g., MS-102, MD-102, MS-900, SC-300, and AZ-104).
- Networking qualifications advantageous.
Terms and Conditions of Employment:
This is a salaried, full-time permanent role with overtime. This job is based in Wellington.
You must be eligible to work and be based in New Zealand.
